MY
PLEDGE TO YOU
I will meet with you and craft a ceremony with the balance of formality,
romance, dignity or spirituality that you desire. All with your input
and approval. This is your special day. Together we will make it all you
want it to be.

There
are many personal reasons why you may ask a celebrant to perform a commitment
ceremony rather than marriage in the legal sense. Whatever your choice,
there
is something special about speaking your commitment in front of your friends
and the world.
RENEWING
YOUR VOWS
After some years together, couples often find a joy in renewing their
vows. It can be very simple on a mountaintop or waterfall or it can be
a lavish wedding-like affair. What's important is that the couple is reconnecting
with the vows they cherished when they first wed.
LIFE
PARTNER VOWS
You and your partner are very happy with your relationship the way it
is. A commitment ceremony is a public expression of the love you have
for each other. It is saying "I give my word" and honouring
your words of commitment rather than being bound by the legalities of
a formal marriage.
SAME
SEX UNIONS
At this time, our government does not allow the legal form of marriage
expect for the marriage of a man to a woman. Gay and Lesbian ceremonies
announce to your friends and community that you are indeed life partners
in a loving committed relationship.
WRITING
YOUR VOWS
You can write your own ceremony, copy from a book or our website, or have
your celebrant write a ceremony that suits your needs, your family arrangements,
and your special day. Use the links at the right to view the sort of things
you might use - you may use or adapt any of those.
Falling in love consists merely in uncorking
the
imagination and bottling the common sense.
